DO YOU HAVE A DRONE!?
Oh yeah! One of my favorite things to do when I’m not working weddings is aerial photography! As long as the venue has no restrictions with drones and weather permitting, I will for sure be getting the bird up in the air! Did I mention, I do not charge extra for aerial shots! I’ll typically use my drone for establishing shots of the venue and quickly during cocktail hour/sunset. I will not fly the drone during the ceremony as it is too distracting and I do not fly over people.
CAN WE CHOOSE OUR OWN MUSIC?
I usually choose the music using my creative judgement based on the feel and emotion of how the day was. I have a list of license-free wedding songs that I purchased online but if you have a favorite song that you think may go well with your wedding day, I would be happy to give it a listen and maybe we can work something out ;)
SHOULD WE HAVE A FIRST LOOK?
That is totally up to you guys! But if your asking, I highly encourage it. It’s one of my favorite things to film and it can really make the video all the better.
IS THERE ANYTHING YOU DON’T FILM?
I don’t film family photos as I do not feel that it belongs in video. I will utilize that time to either fly the drone, capture mingling guests during cocktail hour or shoot any more details. And I do not film people eating. That’s just not attractive.
HOW DO YOU CAPTURE AUDIO?
I have professional audio equipment to capture both your ceremonial wedding vows and your best man/MOH speeches. I have a small wireless microphone that I will attach to the groom that easily picks up audio of the officiant and both the B&G.
NOTE: This microphone is only being recorded into my camera for the video’s sake. It will not be amplified for the guests to hear. Speak with your DJ or the event coordinator for information on broadcasting your ceremony.
I also have a portable recorder that I tap into the DJ’s soundboard using an XLR audio cable to capture speeches during the reception.
